How to Run Seasonal Promotions at Your Studio

Seasonal promotion calendar. New Year, summer, back-to-school, and holiday campaigns that drive revenue.

Timing your promotions with the calendar drives urgency and relevance. Here is the annual promotion playbook.

January — New Year

6-week challenge + discounted intro packs. "New Year, new you" is cliché but it works. Launch December 26.

March/April — Autumn reset (or spring)

"Spring into fitness" / "Autumn accountability" challenge. Capture the secondary motivation wave after New Year dropoff.

May — Mother's Day

Gift card push. "Give mum the gift of fitness." Promote gift cards 3 weeks ahead.

June/July — Winter (Southern) / Summer (Northern)

Winter challenge in AU/NZ. Summer outdoor programming in US/UK. Align with your hemisphere.

September — Back to routine

Kids back to school = parents have time. "Your schedule just opened up. So did ours." Promote a September intro offer.

November/December — Holiday gift cards

Biggest gift card season. Start promoting November 1. "The gift of fitness — delivered instantly." Digital gift cards through the app.
