How to Price Your Studio's Intro Offer for Maximum Conversion

Pricing strategies for intro offers. 3-for-$49, 2-weeks unlimited, and what actually converts new members.

By Koryn Barrett— Founder & Marketing Director, Kollabo

Your intro offer is the front door to your business. Price it wrong and you either scare away prospects or attract deal-seekers who never convert.

The two models that work

  • Fixed pack: 3 classes for $49. Low commitment, easy to understand. Works best for studios with high per-class value ($30+).
  • Time-based unlimited: 2 weeks unlimited for $39. Higher commitment, but the member experiences your studio fully. Works best for community-driven studios.

Pricing rules

  • Price at 40–60% of equivalent full-price value. Enough discount to feel compelling, not so much that full price feels unreasonable afterward.
  • One-time purchase only — prevent existing members from rebuy gaming.
  • Set an expiry (14–30 days) to create urgency.

Conversion tracking

Track what percentage of intro buyers convert to full membership or pack purchase. Target: 25–40%. Below 20%, fix your in-studio experience. Above 40%, you might be undercharging for the intro.

KOLLABO OS tracks intro pack usage, triggers renewal prompts at expiry, and prevents rebuy. Set it up
