Build a sub list
Maintain a list of substitute instructors for each class type. Each sub should know the format, the space, and the member expectations. Update this list monthly.
Notification flow
- Instructor notifies you (or the system) of unavailability
- Auto-notify subs on the list — first to confirm gets the class
- Update the schedule in the app — members see the sub's name
- Optional: notify booked members of the instructor change
In KOLLABO OS
The staff schedule shows instructor assignments. When an instructor is marked unavailable, the owner or manager reassigns the class to a sub. The app updates automatically — members see the new instructor name when they check their booking.
