How to Get More Google Reviews for Your Fitness Studio

Strategies to increase Google reviews. When to ask, how to ask, and why reviews drive bookings.

Google reviews directly impact your search ranking and whether potential members choose you over the competitor down the road. More reviews = more visibility = more bookings.

When to ask

  • After a member's 10th class (they are committed enough to write positively)
  • After a challenge completion (peak positive feeling)
  • After a compliment ("That was the best class!" — "Would you mind sharing that on Google?")

How to ask

Direct link to your Google review page. Send via email or SMS after milestone classes. Make it one tap — do not make them search for your listing.

The template

"Hey [name], so glad you are loving your classes! Would you mind leaving us a quick Google review? It helps other people find us. [link]"

Responding to reviews

Respond to every review within 24 hours. Positive: "Thanks [name], love having you in class!" Negative: acknowledge, take offline, resolve.
