Your intro pack conversion rate is the most important metric in your business. A 10% improvement in conversion rate can add 30–50 new annual members without spending another dollar on acquisition.
During the trial
- First class: instructor introduces themselves. Positions the trial member near a regular. Checks in after class.
- Second class: "Great to see you back! Have you tried [different class type]?"
- Third class: "You are already getting the hang of it. How are you feeling about making this a regular thing?"
The conversion conversation
On or just before the last trial class, have a natural conversation — not a sales pitch. "Your intro is finishing up this week. Do you want me to set you up on a pack so you keep your momentum?"
The nudge
If they don't convert on the spot, send an automated follow-up 24 hours after the last trial class: "Your intro is done! Here is 10% off your first full pack if you continue this week." Urgency + discount.
